Once Upon A Time Part 1
The Earth year was 1200 B.C. when a meteor hurled through space towards Earth. Upon entering Earth’s atmosphere the meteor split into two chunks. One of those chucks fell to a densely populated isle in the Aegean Sea. The meteor’s radiation affected all the island’s inhabitants. All the men were killed almost instantly. The remaining women were altered at the genetic level, into what legend remembers as the Amazon race.
Over the next century the Amazons became violent and deadly warriors, led by many insane Queens. Each Amazon Queen has her own rules of Amazon conduct. When the prophecy of Amazon semen giving immortality was made the Queen demand the castration of all male children born to her warriors. Amazon’s who hid their sons were executed as well as their child. The next Queen demanded death to all male children at birth. Any who refused got the same penalty. Eventually the Queen would forbid all contact with men.
As the years moved on war and the lack of reproduction caused the Amazon race to dwindle in number. After the battle in Celeario, when only five warriors remained they overthrew their murderous Queen Orana. When the fight to imprison Orana was over only three Amazons remained alive. Taking a final vow of sisterhood these last three Amazons went separate ways.
One of those Amazon women was named Dona. Dona sought an escape from the violent and war filled time in which she lived. Dona learned of a peaceful paradise called Magic Island and she began a long search to find the island. Once she found Magic Island she spent many years of peace and solitude on its calm shores. Eventually the call of adventure returned and the island’s only other inhabitant, Mist told her of the caverns on the mountainside that led to other dimensions. One of the those caverns lead to the lost continent of Atlantis.
In Atlantis Dona found many dangers but most of all she found her “soulmate” again. Dona and Lucam began a family together, but the witch Schlock cut their happiness short. Schlock murdered Lucam and their child, Savannah, in an act of vengeance. The Oracle of Barrer gave the Sultar Sapphire ring to Dona. She used the ring’s power against the evil sorceress, Schlock. The ring’s power cast Schlock into limbo. In the months that followed Dona mourned her family. The Oracle revealed another power of Sapphire Ring and the secret of the Amazons and their “soul mates”. Furthermore, the Sultar Sapphire ring could unlock the memories of past lives to that immortal “soul mate”.
Soon after learning this secret, Mist called the amazon back to Magic Island to watch over and protect her from harm. When the proper time came Mist cast Dona off Magic Island and back into the outside world giving her no explanation. By the time Dona returned to the world beyond Magic Island it was the mid-twentieth century. Dona appeared in the United States in mid-June 1964 on the California coast. Where she soon met and fell in love with a young man. That man’s name was Steven Roberts. He was a career Army man who was stationed at Camp Pendleton. They were married and on their wedding night she gave him the sapphire ring as a token of love. Almost instantly the ring’s power causes the return of his past life memories.
It wasn’t until Steven left the service and the couple moved back to his hometown in Philadelphia that the ring began to cause more changes in Steven. Over time, a slight change in Steven’s DNA and genes occurred, causing the couple to conceive mutant amazon children. Their first child, a son, was named Steven Jr. Several years later Steven Sr. and Dona had a daughter even more mutated by the ring. These mutations did not become apparent until the children began to develop Zeni-human powers.
